Speak to Write

Today’s post is a time-saving tip for writing material. Strap in, it’s a belter:

Just talk out loud.

Even better, have a conversation. I know; brilliant, isn’t it?

Don’t start enthusiastically typing your masterpiece, because you’ll probably create something flowery and eloquent, and… well, written. By saying the ideas out loud, you bypass the hours of delivery that would eventually round off the corners of your marvellous prose, taking you directly to the natural, flowing piece of communication that you wanted in the first place. Then write that down. Much better.

That’s my best bit of advice ever.

Oh, you’re quite welcome. Enjoy.
