I really enjoy the BBC show ‘Luther’. I find Idris Elba as John Luther incredibly watchable because you know John Luther can handle anything tough, a bit like Jason Bourne or Daniel Craig’s Bond. Luther has a remarkable presence, with:
- slow, absolutely assured confidence
- measured humour*
What would Luther do?
- combat ability
- ruthlessness and other massive character flaws that regularly put him and his friends in mortal danger
Okay, ignore these two, they’re not relevant to your presentation on Monday morning. Unless you work in a Police station or a military institution, in which case you probably want to build on the combat ability and see someone about the character flaws. Everyone else, focus on the first two: confidence and humour. Thanks.
